Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for answers? Check out these responses to our most frequently asked questions about how to navigate the Next Great Save website and cast your vote for the project of your choice.

1. How do I vote?

Before casting your vote, take a moment to explore the Competitor Gallery:

  1. Click on the "Competitors" tab in the website header.

  2. Browse the different teams and projects that are competing.

  3. Choose your favourite team or project.

Once you’ve decided who to vote for, follow these steps to complete the two-step voting process:

Step 1: Vote on the website

  • Click on the project you wish to vote for.

  • A pop-up will appear on your screen with the word "Vote".

  • Click Vote and enter your email address.

Step 2: Verify your vote via email

  • Log in to the email address you used to vote.

  • Find the verification email from us and click the confirmation link.

  • Your vote will only count once it has been verified, so don’t skip this step!

Repeat these steps daily until voting ends.

2. I have not recieved a voting verification email.

If you have voted on the Next Great Save website using a valid email address and did not receive a verification email, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Search your inbox. The confirmation email address is no-reply@launchpad6.com. Try searching this address in your inbox.
  2. Check your spam/junk folders. Try searching the above mentioned email address in your spam/junk folders.
  3. Try another email address. If you still cannot find the email address, consider voting with an alternative address. Some email account are more likely to block unknown domains than others.

If you have tried all options listed above, please reach out to us at NextGreatSave@nationaltrustcanada.ca for support.

3. I forgot to verify my vote via email.

Don’t worry! Every vote you cast on nextgreatsave.ca generates a unique verification email link that stays valid until the competition ends on April 24th, 2026. This means you can verify your vote later if you forget to do it right away.

Important things to know:

  • You can only vote once per day.

  • If you forget to verify a vote, you can still confirm it later, even the next day. Verifying a previous day’s vote does not prevent you from voting again on a new day.

  • Each vote has its own separate link. Clicking the same link twice will not count as multiple votes.

  • Make sure to click the confirmation link in your email, otherwise your vote will not count.

4. Can multiple people vote from the same device?

Yes! Multiple people can vote using the same device, as long as they use different email addresses.

In some cases, you may need to clear your cache or use a different browser to submit a vote with a new email address.

5. Can I vote on behalf of someone else?

No. Voters are only permitted to vote once per day using their own email address. Proxy voting is not allowed.
